Note 4: AA Degree
These courses can be chosen from the appropriate area of the A.A. degree "Areas of Knowledge." You can download a list of acceptable courses by downloading the AA Degree Requirements from the AA Degree page.

Course Substitutions

A program coordinator may approve substitutions for technical courses of college-level courses in communication, computation, or human relations. (Example: BIOL128 for NUR124.) Substitutions for approved AA degree courses are limited to equivalent academic transfer classes.

Students must first complete the certificate programs in Medical Assisting, Practical Nursing, and Pharmacy Technician before beginning work on the AAS degree.
